Program Learning Outcomes
Students will: - recognize, define and articulate the social, economic, political, cultural and environmental issues and challenges facing cities locally and globally
- understand, discuss, and explain the histories and theories related to the complex forces that shape cities
- develop research methods and tools to analyze and interpret urban phenomena
- communicate effectively in graphic, written and oral form, and provide solutions to specific urban issues and problems in professional settings
Major Requirements (44 Units)
Electives (20 units)
Complete 20 units from the following: Double Dipping
Students will be allowed to use no more than two classes to count for both Urban Studies and another major or minor program. We will provide advisors of the program with a form to track courses majors are enrolled and to avoid double dipping. |
