NURS 701 - Applied Data Analysis

This doctoral course provides students with the knowledge and skills to engage in critical analysis of research methodology found in scholarly publications and reports. There is an emphasis on the appropriate selection and interpretation of data analytic techniques used in evidence-based quality and process improvement projects. Students will learn how to use a spreadsheet application and a statistical analytic software program to run statistics to answer healthcare questions and analyze the use of big data analytics in healthcare.
