Students in the LLM in Taxation program gain a firm grounding in all major areas of taxation and preparation for advancing or launching successful careers in tax law. They expand their knowledge of tax law and network with established professionals in the field.

Taxation, LLM (24 units)

Required Courses (13-16 units)

13 required units total for US Educated LLM in Taxation students; 16 required units total for Non-US, Foreign Educated LLM in Taxation students.

Legal Principles of Federal Income Taxation (3 units)

Legal Principles of Federal Income Taxation is required in the first semester for all MLST students and Non-U.S., Foreign Educated LLM in Taxation students. US Educated LLM in Taxation students have the option to take this course as an elective.
