Mathematics Minor

Program Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Think logically and analyze information critically in a mathematical setting
- Reformulate and solve problems in an abstract framework
- Express mathematical results verbally, working individually and in collaborative groups
- Use appropriate technology to facilitate an understanding of mathematical concepts, but without substituting technology for mathematical thought
Minor Requirements (20 units)
- All courses require a C- or better.
- Courses required for the minor may be attempted a maximum of two times, or three if one attempt resulted in a withdrawal.
- Students cannot receive credit toward their minor for both MATH 201 and 235.
- Students cannot receive credit toward their minor for both MATH 202 and 230.
- Students cannot receive credit toward their minor for both MATH 370 and 360.OK
- Students cannot receive credit toward their minor for both MATH 371 and 360.
