Dance Minor

The Dance program awards a minor to students pursuing the full range of majors offered at the University. To earn the minor, the program requires the completion of 20 units of coursework and participation in at least two USF Dance Ensemble Concerts.

Program Learning Outcomes
- Analyze principles, works and methodologies in Dance within their socio-historical contexts.
- Apply technical and conceptual skills to Dance practices.
- Explain how Dance contributes to a humane and just society.
Minor Requirements (20 Units)
Required Electives (4 Units)
May be taken as Intermediate/Advanced Technique, Dance and Culture, or Dance in the Community course.
Required Participation (0-4 Units)
Participation in two USF Dance Ensemble Productions:
