Environmental Science Minor

The minor in Environmental Science is designed for students who wish to prepare for a possible career in the environmental sciences.

Program Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the minor requirements in ENVS will be able to:
- Explain the range and interdisciplinary nature of environmental issues.
- Apply the scientific method to environmental issues.
- Articulate knowledge of basic concepts in environmental science.
Minor Requirements (20 Units)
Required Courses (12-20 Units)
12-20 units, of which 4 units must be upper division:
Additional Science and Math Courses (0-8 Units)
Note:
*Internship/placement or research project must have an environmental component.
