Program Learning Outcomes

After,completing the course work required to complete the TaD program, students will have the skills and ability to:

1. Recognize and articulate the basic tenets of visual and auditory design for performance based art, and apply relevant design principles to a work based on its connections to genre- or culturally-specific aesthetics
2. Communicate effectively by understanding specialized vocabulary, organizational structures, personnel, and management methods in the arts
3. Collaborate in the execution of an artistic event or project
4. Conceptualize and execute an arts based design
5. Organize and manage a live performance event
6. Actualize a design or composition in physical space
