PSYD 710 - Advanced Psychopathology: Children and Adolescents Unit(s): 3
This is one of two courses focused on psychopathology across the life span. Students will examine the epidemiology, etiology and diagnostic criteria for disorders that typically manifest themselves during adulthood. Students will examine biological, developmental, and sociocultural factors involved in adult psychopathology. Students will critically examine the DSM system of diagnosis and learn to apply it thoughtfully in their clinical and empirical work.
