Advanced topics in organic chemistry, including an expanded repertoire of functional group transformations, inter- and intramolecular carbon-carbon bond formations, organometallic chemistry, heterocycles, and other special topics. Emphasis on synthesis, including multistep syntheses of complex targets employing retrosynthetic analysis, regio / stereo / enantioselective methodologies, and protective group strategies.
