POLS 275 - Politics and Culture Unit(s): 4
Political thinkers have long agreed that ‘culture’ matters to politics, but they have disagreed as to what ‘culture’ is and precisely how it may affect politics. Political thinkers also have contended that politics affects culture, although they have disagreed as to what those effects are and should be. In this course, we think together about the relationship between politics and culture, primarily about that relationship in the contemporary world, especially but not limited to the United States.
