Overview of the AI techniques and strategies used to address partisan and racial gerrymandering. Topics include metrics to detect gerrymandering, Markov Chain processes and ensemble analysis, data collection and cleaning, and ecological inference. Students complete a large project analyzing several aspects of a districting map.
