ENGR 362 - Signals & Systems Unit(s): 4
Signals and systems are applied in a vast array of areas, including audio and speech processing, communications systems, biological system analysis, financial analysis, and imaging. This course introduces students to continuous-time and discrete-time signal processing fundamentals, covering topics such as complex signals, impulse and step functions, linear time-invariant systems, Fourier analysis, analog and digital filters, and filter characterization.
Prerequisite: ENGR 264 and MATH 211 Corequisite: ENGR-362L Restriction: Field of study restricted to Engineering Major College of Arts and Sciences
