MPH 671-B - Health Education and Promotion: Lab B

In this course students will continue to gain practical and hands-on experiences in health education and promotion for individuals and communities, including underserved or marginalized populations. Students will continue to build upon partnerships from the previous semester to revise, plan, deliver, and make recommendations for training, curriculum, and interventions using face-to-face and technology-supported health education and promotion strategies. Students will apply learnings from previous coursework and semester to plan and conduct marketing and social media campaigns, workshops and presentations, one-on-one health education coaching, outreach events, among other wellness activities. Continued collaboration, partnerships, project management, cultural competency, personal values clarification, teamwork, and technology integration will be emphasized. Through this course, all students will have completed twenty-five hours of Applied Practice Experience (APEX) during the semester.
