BAM 310 - Human Resource Management Unit(s): 2
In this course, students learn Human Resource Management in terms of both its traditional, and newer strategic trajectories specific to how we Acquire Talent, Develop Human Resources, Reward them, and Maintain them (ADRM). Traditionally, these practice areas of HR were focused on how to fit individuals into key functions. Now, increasingly HR practitioners and management aspirants and professionals must look at how these practices must evolve in concert not just with employee preferences, but also as part of marketplace perspectives. With this in mind, this course takes not just a theoretical, but also an applied approach.
