HONC 353 - Feminist Ethics Unit(s): 4
This course explores the insightful and insistent voices of women who stood up and responded to a Western moral discourse used as a strategy to undermine women’s status as equal human beings. Through an examination of the works of contemporary feminist philosophers, this course considers how theoretical and practical ethics can help us critically analyze and find ways to dismantle mechanisms of oppression in ethical theory itself.
