PSYC 306 - Latinx Psychology Unit(s): 4
This course is designed to promote and improve culture-specific knowledge about the psychology and mental health of the U.S. Latinx population. Topics include Latinx ethnic, racial, class, gender and sexual identities, stereotypes and discrimination, immigration and acculturation, psychosocial stressors, and influences of cultural beliefs and values on family relations and mental health.
Prerequisite: PSYC 101 College of Arts and Sciences
