THTR 220 - Intermediate Acting

This intermediate-level acting course is open to any student who has completed THTR 110 Acting for Non-Majors or THTR 115 Hip Hop Theater. Through class exercises and practical assignments, students analyze and interpret play texts, develop tools and techniques for creating dynamic and complex characters, hone their listening and partnering skills, and learn how to approach the actor’s work in rehearsal with intellectual, physical and emotional rigor.

Prerequisite: THTR 110 or THTR 115 with a minimum grade of C-
Restriction: Field of Study restricted to Perf. Arts & Soc. Justice Major, Theater Minor, Theater Concentration
