(2) Prerequisites: NURS 220, NURS 221, NURS 222, NURS 225. Corequisites: NURS 271, NURS 272, and NURS 275. Introduction to normal nutrition across the life span. Health promotion strategies and principles of health teaching related to nutrition. Content includes macro and micronutrients, nutritional assessment basics, cultural considerations, health promotion basics and health teaching strategies for patients and families.
