BUS 374 - Product Engineering Unit(s): 4
Engineers are often highly sought in fields outside their expertise such as management, consulting, and finance because of how they’re trained to think and solve problems effectively. This class is designed to give non-technical business students a deeper understanding of the technical problem-solving skills that engineers have, which can complement other problem-solving skills they learn as business students. Through a semester-long experiential project that involves designing and building a remote-controlled airplane, students will gain a deeper appreciation on how to solve problems through both subjective and objective approaches, which will help them become more dynamic and effective at solving a wide range of business and social problems in their future careers.
Restriction: Class restricted to Junior and Senior School of Management
