KIN 345 - Injury Prevention and Rehab Unit(s): 4
This course examines psychological and mechanical concepts related to injuries and rehabilitation. Students learn about mechanical properties of biological tissues, mechanisms of common musculoskeletal injuries, antecedents of injury, techniques to reduce injury risk, psychological consequences of injury, approaches to sport rehabilitation, and best practices for communication with athletes.
