MIMS 611 - Critical Refugee Studies Unit(s): 3
This interdisciplinary foundational Migration Studies course, open to graduate students in other disciplines, introduces students to migration and refugee studies/work within the context of Jesuit values and Ignatian spiritual traditions; Critical Refugee Studies, engaged scholarship; and transnational solidarities. Through readings, discussions, reflections, and collective inquiry, students gain a broad critical lens with which to engage migration scholarship and migrant/refugee communities.
