RHET 110 - Written Communication I Unit(s): 4
In RHET 110, students explore how language influences values, beliefs, and actions. This course emphasizes the development of rhetorical knowledge and power, in keeping with the Jesuit value of eloquentia perfecta–speaking and writing for the common good. Through inquiry, analysis, and reflection, students create writing projects based on their own personal, civic, or academic interests and goals. Students develop their voices in crafting written, oral, and multimedia communication for specific purposes and audiences.
Prerequisite: Written Communication I with a minimum score of 100 or RHET 106 with a minimum grade of C College of Arts and Sciences
