PSYD 753 - Team Leadership, Consultation, and Interprof Collaboration

Students will explore the role of the consultation process in various health settings in which the psychologist functions. Emphasis will be on the structure of different professional settings, as well as collaboration with the various professionals who work there, such as nurses, physicians, social workers, and occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals. Students will learn how to assess, enter, and function in multiple settings. Emphasis will be placed on the role of social psychology, organization and systems therapy, and group processes in workplace settings.
