PSYD 714 - Community Psychology and Community Mental Health

Students will critically examine socioeconomic and sociopolitical structures that influence health disparities. In addition, this course will focus on individual, group, and social determinants of disproportionate rates of mental and physical disorders among underserved communities. Emphasis will be on specific disorders and groups typically targeted by nonprofit and government agencies.
