PSYD 710 - Advanced Psychopathology: Children and Adolescents

Students will survey the epidemiology, etiology and diagnostic criteria for child and adolescent psychological disorders. Students will examine biological, familial, and sociocultural factors involved in child and adolescent psychopathology as they occur developmentally. Students will survey evidence-based treatment approaches to psychological disorders of childhood and adolescence and learn to apply them thoughtfully in their clinical and empirical work.
