NURS 670 - Internship

This is a clinical nurse leader internship course. Students implement an evidence-informed quality improvement project designed to improve patient and/or microsystem outcomes and disseminate the project results. Faculty guide students to complete American Association of Colleges of Nurses (AACN) recommended clinical nurse leader practice experiences, and students develop proficiency in the clinical nurse leader role.

Prerequisite: NURS 609 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 677 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 633 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 643 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 603 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 664 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 611 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 641 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 674 with a minimum grade of B- and NURS 660 with a minimum grade of B-
