NURS 674 - Leadership for Quality Outcome Unit(s): 2
This course prepares the student to lead an interprofessional team in support of a practice improvement initiative in the microsystem. Emphasis is on leadership and team development skills to promote ethical decision-making, establish effective working relationships, and manage systems. This course focuses on leadership of teams, communication, collaboration, and consultation in care management to improve patient/client or population outcomes.
Prerequisite: NURS 607 and NURS 609 and NURS 612 and NURS 611 and NURS 641 Restriction: College restricted to School of Nursing and Health Professions; Degree restricted to Master of Science in Nursing School of Nursing and Health Professions
