NURS 7250 - Reproductive & Child Health

This course provides foundational knowledge in the primary care of children, and in adult reproductive health care for the advanced practice nurse. Emphasis is placed on gaining knowledge to prevent, diagnose, and manage related health conditions. The use of clinical reasoning, evidence- based clinical practice guidelines, research, and differential diagnosis skills will prepare the student to evaluate and treat these populations. Treatment plans designed with awareness of population focused health disparities, cultural influences, and patient centered care will be explored.
