In this course, the student will explore theoretical foundations for evidence-based population health practice. The course will emphasize systems level analysis of health and health care from an individual, interpersonal, organizational, sociocultural, and socio-political theoretical perspective. The student will be prepared to design, implement and evaluate an inter-professional, multi-systems population focused health or healthcare improvement initiative.
