NURS 748 - PMHNP Clinical Practicum I

This practicum course provides students with supervised clinical practice relevant to the role of a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, providing integrated health care to adults with psychiatric/mental health conditions. In this course, the students will utilize principles of prevention, health promotion and symptom management to holistically assess, diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic behavioral health conditions based on research and epidemiological data for outcome-based practice.
