CS 336 - Computer Networks Unit(s): 4
Current methods and practices in the use of computer networks to enable communication. Physical and architectural elements, and layered models of networks. Communication protocols and associated algorithms; local and wide area networks; network security. Four hours lecture.
Prerequisite: CS 245 with a minimum grade of C and (CS 220 with a minimum grade of C or CS 221 with a minimum grade of C) Restriction: Field of Study restricted to Computer Science, Computer Science (4+1), Data Science Major, Computer Science Minor College of Arts and Sciences
