Program Learning Outcomes
- Social Justice: Students will explain and apply theoretical and practical applications of social justice and activism rooted in the Jewish traditions
- Social Identities, Intersectionality, and Marginalized Communities: Students will articulate the intersectionality of social identities and in/justice, specifically those of marginalized social groups, using Jewish communities as a window
- Jews and Judaisms: Students will articulate various dimensions of Jewish cultures, histories, politics, philosophies, and/or languages
Minor Requirements (20 units)
Electives (12 units)
- Any course with MJSS course attribute

Note: For all Theology and Religious Studies majors who choose to minor in Jewish Studies and Social Justice, a maximum of 2 Theology and Religious Studies courses will be permitted to count for this minor not including the two core courses for the minor, THRS 125 and THRS 130 . |
