The Biology minor provides an opportunity for students in programs outside of the Biology Major to complement their studies with a concentration in biology. Students experience the breadth of biology by taking general biology, cell physiology, genetics and ecology.
Program Learning Outcomes

Students will demonstrate an understanding of organismal form, function, and diversity.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of cellular structure and interactions necessary for the maintenance and reproduction of life.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the principles of genetics, evolution and ecology.
Students will discuss and critically review biological scientific papers.
Minor Requirements (20 Units)
To complete the minor students must take General Biology I with a lab, General Biology II with a lab, Cell Physiology, Genetics with a lab and Ecology.
