Program Learning Outcomes
Students will demonstrate:
- Content knowledge in number theory, algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, and calculus, as these are required to pass the California Subject Examinations for Teachers in Mathematics
- Competence in at least one mathematical area beyond that required to pass the California Subject Examinations for Teachers in Mathematics, such as the mathematics of digital art, polyhedra in three dimensions, and/or spherical trigonometry
- An ability to communicate mathematics effectively
- An appreciation and enthusiasm for mathematics
