NURS 427 - Evidence-Based Inquiry Unit(s): 3
This didactic course prepares students to advance nursing scholarship through evidence-based practice principles. Learners develop skills in identifying clinical questions, appraising research evidence, and implementing evidence-based solutions across healthcare settings. Guided by Jesuit values, students cultivate leadership abilities and professional development through interprofessional collaboration. Emphasis is placed on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives that enhance care delivery.
Prerequisite: NURS 381 with a minimum grade of C and NURS 388 with a minimum grade of S and NURS 380 with a minimum grade of C and NURS 382 with a minimum grade of S and MATH 101 with a minimum grade of S Corequisite: NURS425, NURS423, NURS426, NURS424 Restriction: Major Restricted to Nursing; Level restricted to Undergraduate; College restricted to Sch of Nursing and Health Prof School Nursing & Health Professions
