CMPL 205 - Literature of the Child Unit(s): 4
A substantial introduction to the basic principles and methodology of literary analysis for comparing works of different cultural origins, time periods, and regions of the world. This course will focus on representations of childhood that sustain a diversity of perspectives to address questions of parent-child relationships, family dynamics, society, culture, religion, history, trauma, and other theories that affect our early experiences.
