CS 463 - Foundations of ML Unit(s): 4
This course offers a comprehensive overview of machine learning concepts and methods, emphasizing practical applications through hands-on programming assignments. Using an algorithmic approach, students will delve into theoretical fundamentals of regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction and deep learning. In addition, students complete a large project or real-world application with a machine learning component.
Prerequisite: CS 245 with a minimum grade of C and CS 362 with a minimum grade of C Restriction: Field of Study Restricted to Computer Science, Computer Science (4+1) College of Arts & Sciences
