PHYS 151 - Physics for Engineers II Unit(s): 4
This is the second course of a two-semester sequence in calculus-based introductory physics for engineers, introducing concepts in electricity, magnetism, and optics. The laboratory section of the course reinforces the physical concepts introduced in class as students learn basic tasks involved in scientific investigation, such as data taking, data analysis, team work, and written communication, and synthesize these skills in the completion of applied projects.
Prerequisite: PHYS 150 with a minimum grade of C- or PHYS 110 with a minimum grade of C- and concurrent MATH 110 with a minimum grade of C- Corequisite: PHYS151L Restriction: Major Restricted to Engineering College of Arts & Sciences
