CHEM 236 - Fundamentals of Organic Chem Unit(s): 4
Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry is a one-semester survey of the structure and reactivity of organic molecules. Emphasis is placed on understanding structural features of molecules, including stereochemistry, and predicting and correctly drawing reaction mechanisms for polar reactions. Multi-step synthesis will be introduced. Offered every spring semester.
Prerequisite: (CHEM 113 with a minimum grade of C and CHEM 114 with a minimum grade of C) College of Arts & Sciences
