PHYS 151 - Physics for Engineers II Unit(s): 4
This is the second course of a two-semester sequence in calculus-based introductory physics for engineers, introducing concepts in electricity, magnetism, and optics. The laboratory section of the course reinforces the physical concepts introduced in class as students learn basic tasks involved in scientific investigation, such as data taking, data analysis, team work, and written communication, and synthesize these skills in the completion of applied projects.
Prerequisite: PHYS 150 or PHYS 110 and concurrent MATH 110 with a minimum grade of C- Corequisite: PHYS-151L Restriction: Field of study restricted to Engineering Major College of Arts and Sciences
