PSYD 797 - Summer Practicum

This course builds on Practicum 2A and 2B, as students continue their clinical training placements in community settings. Through group consultation, students have the opportunity to receive and provide constructive feedback on their clinical work. Didactics of this course will focus on continuing to develop basic case conceptualization and treatment planning skills established in Practicum 2A and 2B, with an emphasis on cultural considerations. Professional development topics covered include roles of psychologists in integrated care settings, and collaboration and consultation within community mental health settings.
