MBA 6437 - Emotional and Cultural Intelligence

Fundamentally, we work with other people and have a profound influence on others. Thus, understanding how different people behave and respond to certain stimuli is valuable. This course prepares students for additional leadership roles and working more effectively with others in the following 3 ways: 1) developing emotional intelligence and the understanding of how we as individuals affect those around us, 2) cultivating cultural intelligence including awareness of our own cultural biases, 3) offering training in coaching to enhance consulting capacity, particularly at the interpersonal level.
