THRS 357 - Performing Texts,Religious Lit

In this course, students learn about various religious traditions by rehearsing and staging representative texts from these traditions. This process explores the inner life of the text and its relation to the larger social, historical, cultural and religious contexts. Special emphasis is placed on how these texts can be used to address the issues of social injustice.
