BAIS 383 - CSR Skills Unit(s): 2
This course introduces students to the growing field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and some of the key skills used in CSR positions. In this course we examine the parameters of CSR work and the approaches taken by different corporations to acting in a socially responsible manner. We also explore some of the key skills and knowledge often required of CSR personnel, including assessments of practices (such as supply chain assessment), environmental impact reports, diversity and inclusivity platforms, and conducting research on human rights, labor, and environmental laws and policies. We also consider the global institutions and laws that contribute to this field.
