UPA 669 - Urban Field Class Unit(s): 4
In this class students travel the Bay Area, with an emphasis on San Francisco, looking for evidence of the political geographies of the region, manifest in signage, architecture, and the vernacular landscapes of our neighborhoods. This course offers an overview of local history, paired with lessons in the skill of seeing history and politics in everyday urban spaces.
