NURS 660 - Practicum: Quality Improvement Unit(s): 2
This is a clinical nurse leadership practicum course where students design a project plan for an evidence-informed quality improvement project to positively impact patient or microsystem outcomes.
Students build on knowledge from prior courses and best practice guidelines to design a project plan. Course faculty guide students as they complete recommended clinical nurse leader practice experiences and develop an evidence-informed quality improvement project plan in a practice setting.
Prerequisite: NURS 609 and NURS 603 and NURS 664 and NURS 641 Restriction: College restricted to School of Nursing and Health Professions; Degree restricted to Master of Science in Nursing; Malpractice Insurance-Grad - 25 School of Nursing and Health Professions
