NURS 641 - Quality, Improvement & Patient Safety Unit(s): 3
This course develops core critical thinking skills related to knowledge and attitudes about the quality, safety, and value of healthcare improvement and performance measurement. The Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Quadruple Aim framework is applied to improve outcomes in patient/client care populations and systems across the continuum. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based strategies, interventions, and tools that foster a culture of continuous reassessment, improvement, and learning in the microsystem work environment.
