NURS 643 - Population-Based Epidemiological Inquiry

This course provides an overview of the principles of epidemiology and evidence-based practice to address the health of populations within local and global communities. Students will be introduced to population-based data measures used to analyze aggregate health outcomes.

Epidemiological inquiry and concepts will be explored in relation to population health events and trends. Culturally responsive health promotion and prevention strategies will be critiqued and applied to address the burden of disease.
