MPH 674 - Chronic Conditions

In this course, students will learn about biological, psychological, and social aspects and determinants of chronic health conditions. Students will analyze national and global trends in prevalence, incidence, morbidity and mortality. The medical and psychosocial experience of chronic conditions for individuals and families will be assessed. Content will focus on Healthy People priorities and on education and promotion of culturally appropriate, interdisciplinary, multi-level interventions for primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention.
