MPH 671 - Health Ed and Promotion Lab

In this course, students will gain practical and hands-on experiences in health education and promotion for individuals and communities, including underserved populations by implementing their planned activities and campaigns from the previous semester (Spring). Students will reach out to community stakeholders to implement, and deliver training, curriculum, and interventions using face-to-face, and technology-supported health education and promotion strategies. Students will apply learnings from previous coursework to conduct social media campaigns, workshops and presentations, one-on-one health education counseling, and outreach events, among other wellness activities.
